What is already automated at Tuas
More than 300 automated guided vehicles, about 200 Siasun intelligent guided vehicles, automated yard cranes and a private 5G network. Yard transport and stacking are solved.
What is not
PSA has said publicly that vessel-side lashing and unlashing is its remaining human-in-the-loop problem and that it is pursuing embodied AI for it. Twist-lock handling remains the manual link across the industry. Container and unit-load-device interiors, service stairs and aircraft cabins are still done by people.
